Yemen Crisis

Yemen is facing a humanitarian catastrophe.

Yemen remains one of the world’s largest humanitarian crises. After seven years of devastating and unrelenting conflict, over 20 million Yemenis depend on humanitarian assistance to survive.

The risk of a large-scale famine in the country has never been more acute. Tens of thousands are already living in famine-like conditions, with a staggering five million more just one step away from it. Displaced families are four times more at risk of famine than the rest of the Yemeni population.

By donating today, you can help families in Yemen access:

  • Emergency health care and nutrition
  • Vital protection assistance including emergency and transitional shelters
  • Cash assistance to help pay for food and rent
  • Relief items such as shelter kits, mattresses and blankets

Despite challenging circumstances, UNHCR is on the ground delivering lifesaving support to vulnerable families in Yemen. But we cannot do it alone. Your gift will offer hope for a safe future.

By donating today, you can help families in Yemen access:
