Syria Crisis

The fight is far from over.
;

A funding crisis threatens to cut Syrians off from emergency aid.

The people of Syria have endured almost 14 years of conflict. Their loved ones have been brutally killed. Their homes and communities have been destroyed. They have been forced to flee again and again, often with nothing but the clothes on their backs.

Now, UNHCR is facing a funding crisis – and Syrians will be among those who suffer most.

Without enough funding, 75,000 Syrians will have to go without emergency shelter, and 1.5 million will miss out on survival essentials like blankets and winter clothing.

This funding crisis comes at a critical time. While the Assad regime has fallen, conflict continues to devastate parts of the country. Most recently, fighting has escalated in the north-west, with reports that entire families, including women and children, have been killed.

Don’t forget about the people of Syria. With conflict still raging and life-saving funding at risk, their futures hang in the balance.
