Outline & Purpose of Role:

We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated person to join our busy Donor Care team providing a high quality, timely and positive donor experience.

The Donor Care team has a strong customer service focus and deals with donors from many different backgrounds. The team manages multiple fundraising income streams and processes a high volume of donations.

Working within a team you will be responsible for liaising with donors, providing a professional and timely resolution of queries, updating records and entering all donor communications and response actions on to our fundraising database - Raiser’s Edge.

The successful applicant will possess the following attributes:


  • Previous experience in a telecommunications-based customer service and administration role
  • Proven accurate and efficient data entry skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office, specifically Excel
  • Strong organisation and time management skills
  • Willingness to take responsibility for a wide range of administration duties
  • Demonstrated ability to learn new skills and procedures.

Ideally you will have experience working in a similar position either in the not-for-profit or commercial sector. We value candidates who have an exceptional phone manner, maturity, attention to detail and the ability to quickly build rapport with our donors. A ‘can-do' attitude is a must. A working knowledge of Raiser’s Edge or a similar database system would be advantageous, although training will be provided.
