Nadia works as part of the Face to Face team in the Sydney office.  She travels with the Frontliner teams across the country, raising awareness about UNHCR's life-saving work.

"It was through speaking to a Frontliner in my local shopping mall that I first heard of the work of UNHCR, and I found it so inspiring I thought, 'I'd like to do this too'.

"At first I was nervous about approaching people I didn't know. But once I persuaded my first person to become a regular giver I knew I could do the job and have never looked back.

"I love my job.  I work with a great bunch of people from all around the world and get to see parts of the city I'd never normally visit. But the best thing is knowing that I'm helping people who really need it. With every sign up, with every conversation I have with someone on the street, I am making a difference to someone's life."

Australia for UNHCR is looking for enthusiastic, motivated people to join its Face to Face fundraising program. Our Frontliners work in small teams in shopping centres and street locations interacting face-to-face with potential donors to support the work of the UN Refugee Agency, UNHCR. The program raises funds for refugees around the world who are protected and assisted by UNHCR's Emergency Response Teams.
