Volunteer Donor Services Support
Place of work: Australia for UNHCR Office, Sydney City, 2000
Objective:
To provide assistance in donor communication and administrative support to the organisations permanent employees working in Donor Services
Whats Involved
Key tasks:
- Phoning donors to update details
- Phoning new donors to welcome them to the organisation
- Preparing mail-outs
- Filing
- Basic word processing and computer tasks
Skills required:
- Previous experience in customer service
- Previous experience of working in an administrative or office environment would be an advantage
- Effective communication and listening skills
- Attention to detail
- Maturity, reliability and an ability to seek advice/assistance
Training:
- Volunteers will be given a relevant induction to the organisation
- Training will be provided on an ongoing basis
