Darfur Emergency
Over the past three years, nearly 200,000 innocent people have been killed - massacred, raped or become victims of disease. Two million have been forced from their homes, including the 220,000 Sudanese refugees who have fled across the border into Chad.
Nearly 60 percent of these innocents are children.
UNHCR is one of the few relief agencies still working in Darfur today. However the organisation receives only a limited 2% subsidy from the United Nations to do its life saving work. For the rest, UNHCR relies on voluntary contributions - so please donate today:
