There are many ways your organisation can partner with Australia for UNHCR and help provide refugees and displaced people with life-saving relief. Together we can make a world of difference, giving shelter, protection and hope to those whose lives have been destroyed by conflict and disaster.
We have mutually-rewarding and successful corporate partnerships with some of Australia's leading firms, including Corrs Chambers Westgarth Lawyers, PricewaterhouseCoopers and Colonial First State Global Asset Management.

A simple, tax-effective way to make regular charitable donations to Australia for UNHCR is through a Workplace Giving scheme.
Workplace Giving allows you to donate to Australia for UNHCR directly from your gross salary, immediately reducing the amount of tax deducted from your salary. Regular workplace giving is one of the most effective ways to support the life-saving work of the UN Refugee Agency, both for you and for Australia for UNHCR.
Please speak to your Payroll or Human Resources department about Workplace Giving tax benefits to you and setting up regular payroll donations to Australia for UNHCR.You will find further information on the Australian Tax Office website www.ato.gov.au.
Also talk to your employer about your company's Matched Giving Program [anchor], as any recent donations you've made may also be eligible for a matched gift from your employer.
If either you or your employer requires information about Australia for UNHCR, the work of the UN Refugee Agency, or setting up regular employee donations to Australia for UNHCR, please email or call our Community and Workplace Engagement Manager, Sue Cowden, on 02 9262 5377.

Matched Giving - for employers
Providing the opportunity for employees to contribute to a charity of their choice through Workplace Giving and other workplace fundraising events and then matching their gift is an excellent way for companies to demonstrate their commitment to the causes their employees care about.
Matched Giving programs are easy to set up and administer, and your administrative costs and contributions are tax deductible. Workplace Giving enables employees to donate money on a regular basis to a registered charity like Australia for UNHCR through their pay. Because the donation is made before tax is taken from the employee's salary, your staff receives the benefit of automatic tax reductions as well as the opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to the community.
If your company does not already have Workplace Giving and Matched Giving in place, you can find the information you need on the Australian Tax Office website www.ato.gov.au.
We can help you to encourage your staff to participate in and benefit from the scheme. For more information please email or call our Community and Workplace Engagement Manager, Sue Cowden, on 02 9262 5377.
