Three Emergencies in three months
Kenya, Chad and Darfur: Please respond quickly so we can to.
In January, post-election bloodshed in Kenya sent over 260,000 people fleeing for their lives.
In February, an attempted coup in Chad forced another 30,000 innocent civilians from their homes. At one stage, we had thousands of people flooding into neighbouring Cameroon every day, many of them bringing nothing but their exhausted children.
And now we are seeing a further escalation of violence in Darfur, Sudan. Dozens of African villages and towns bombed in recent weeks. UNHCR has rushed to assist over 12,000 new refugees found huddling under trees and bushes in the deserts of eastern Chad.
We need your help to ensure that refugees receive this lifesaving assistance and protection as soon as possible. We hope that you will continue to provide this essential support to families whose lives and communities are being torn apart by war.
Please make a donation today so that we can continue to support the newly displaced.
